지난해에 이어 올해도 데잉스는 서울 강서구에 위치한 마음자리에 기저귀를 전달했습니다.

마음자리

 

마음자리는 준비되지 않은 임신과 출산으로 어려움을 겪는 미혼·임산부의 건강한 출산과 자립을 지원하는 미혼모자 기본생활시설입니다. 엄마와 아기가 안전하게 생활하며 새로운 출발을 준비할 수 있도록 다양한 도움을 제공하고 있습니다.

기저귀는 아기를 돌보는 가정에서 매일 필요하지만, 꾸준히 마련해야 하기에 부담도 큰 생활필수품입니다. 이번에 전달한 기저귀가 마음자리에서 생활하는 엄마와 아기들에게 작게나마 실질적인 도움이 되기를 바랍니다.

지난해 시작한 인연을 올해도 이어갈 수 있어 더욱 뜻깊었습니다. 큰 나눔은 아니지만, 필요한 곳에 꾸준히 마음을 보태는 일이 중요하다고 생각합니다.

 

데잉스가 지금까지 성장할 수 있었던 것은 함께해 주신 학생과 선생님, 그리고 데잉스를 응원해 주시는 모든 분 덕분입니다. 그 감사한 마음이 우리 주변의 이웃에게도 전해질 수 있도록 앞으로도 할 수 있는 작은 실천을 이어가겠습니다.
작은 마음들이 하나둘 모이면 누군가의 하루를 조금 더 따뜻하게 만들 수 있다고 믿습니다.

Following last year’s donation,
Daily English School has once again donated diapers to Maumjary, a residential support facility located in Gangseo-gu, Seoul.

Maumjary provides a safe place for mothers and their babies while supporting healthy childbirth and preparation for independent living.
Diapers are an essential everyday item for families with babies, but the continuous cost can become a significant burden. We sincerely hope that our donation will offer practical support and a little comfort to the mothers and children staying at Maumjary.

 

It was especially meaningful for us to continue the connection we began last year. Although this may be a small contribution, we believe that offering consistent support where it is needed can make a meaningful difference.

DES has been able to grow thanks to our students, teachers, and everyone who continues to support us. We will keep finding small but meaningful ways to share that gratitude with our neighbors.

 

We believe that when small acts of kindness come together, they can make someone’s day a little warmer.
